Human GM-CSF ELISA Kit

Supplied under the Antibodies.com brand, this Human GM-CSF ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF). It is reactive with human samples and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and other biological fluids. The assay applies a quantitative sandwich immunoassay on a pre-coated microplate using a monoclonal antibody specific for GM-CSF, an HRP-conjugated monoclonal antibody and a TMB substrate; the enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by sulphuric acid and the colour change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm.

The kit includes two diluents — Calibrator Diluent I for serum/plasma testing and Calibrator Diluent II for cell culture supernatant testing. It has shown no cross-reactivity with other cytokines tested and recognizes both natural and recombinant human GM-CSF. Reported sensitivity is < 2 pg/ml, with an assay range of 2-500 pg/ml. Total assay time is 2h 30m. The kit is shipped and stored at 4°C and is run on a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips with colorimetric detection.
