Human Glypican 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glypican 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and is intended for colorimetric readout on a microplate reader.

The kit uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate. An antibody specific for Glypican 3 is immobilised on the plate; standards and test samples are added, and after incubation and washing the wells are incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-Glypican 3 Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow on addition of the acidic stop solution, with the yellow intensity proportional to Glypican 3 concentration. Absorbance is read at 450nm in a microplate reader and quantified against the standard curve. The quoted assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.051 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
