Human Glypican 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glypican 2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with a biotinylated anti-Glypican 2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Following incubation with TMB substrate and addition of acidic stop solution, the density of yellow product is proportional to the amount of Glypican 2 captured, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as 0.063 ng/ml and the working assay range spans 0.156–10 ng/ml. The complete protocol runs for approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed on the individual reagents, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Validation data (n=5 per matrix) gave mean recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilutional linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
