Human Glycosylphosphatidylinositol Specific Phospholipase D1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glycosylphosphatidylinositol Specific Phospholipase D1 (GPI-PLD) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-GPI-PLD detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate for colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The kit achieves a sensitivity of <0.34 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml. Average recovery has been validated across sample types: serum (n=5) at 80–102% (91% average), EDTA plasma (n=5) at 81–100% (90% average), and heparin plasma (n=5) at 80–89% (84% average). Dilutional linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types, with serum showing 87–107% recovery, EDTA plasma 79–108%, and heparin plasma 82–105%.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at either +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
