Human Glycoprotein V, Platelet ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glycoprotein V, Platelet (also known as CD42d/GP5) in plasma. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate using a biotinylated anti-CD42d/GP5 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, and is read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is defined by an assay range of 1.25-80 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.65 ng/ml, with analyte concentration calculated from a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Manufacturer-reported recovery averages are 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%), with dilution linearity evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across each of these sample types.
