Human Glycoprotein Ib Alpha Polypeptide, Platelet ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD42b (Glycoprotein Ib Alpha Polypeptide, Platelet) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CD42b, a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.63 ng/ml, and the complete assay is performed in 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery experiments (n=5) gave average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated for each matrix.
