Human Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 Beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 Beta (GSK3 beta) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection read on a standard microplate reader at 450 nm.

The workflow uses a biotinylated anti-GSK3 beta antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; following addition of the stop solution, the yellow product is proportional to the amount of GSK3 beta captured in each well. The assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.127 ng/ml, and the protocol takes 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed.

Validated matrices include serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Average recovery ranges from 83–100% (serum, n=5), 91–98% (EDTA plasma, n=5) and 90–99% (heparin plasma, n=5). Dilution linearity tested from 1:2 to 1:16 (n=5) falls within 74–109% across the three sample types.
