Human Glycine Transporter 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative determination of human Glycine Transporter 1 (Glyt1A) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for Glyt1A pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, with standards and test samples added to the wells and captured by the immobilised antibody. Following washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Glyt1A Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is performed using TMB substrate solution, with the resulting absorbance read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Glyt1A calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit has a product range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.134 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been characterised across sample matrices: serum (n=5) averages 91% across a range of 80%-102%; EDTA plasma (n=5) averages 90% across 81%-100%; and heparin plasma (n=5) averages 84% across 80%-89%. Dilutional linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions is provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers.
