Human Glycerol-3-Phosphate Acyltransferase, Mitochondrial ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glycerol 3 Phosphate Acyltransferase, Mitochondrial (GPAM) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which an antibody specific for GPAM is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-GPAM Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of GPAM captured, and the concentration is calculated from the O.D. absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml. The assay is carried out on a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate and is completed in 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
