Human Glutathione S Transferase Theta 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glutathione S-Transferase Theta 1 (GSTT1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-GSTT1 detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read colorimetrically at 450 nm; the density of the yellow product is proportional to the GSTT1 concentration and is calculated against a standard curve. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is 0.055 ng/ml and the working range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Average recovery from spiked samples is 92% for serum (range 82–102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 91–98%) and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86–101%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported as 73–109%, 87–91%, 88–103% and 77–105% for serum; 95–98%, 87–110%, 78–102% and 90–100% for EDTA plasma; and 80–104%, 86–97%, 95–103% and 81–109% for heparin plasma. The product is intended for research use only.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, 2 vials of lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
