Human Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glutathione S-Transferase Alpha 2 (GSTA2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated anti-GSTA2 detection antibody followed by an HRP–avidin conjugate, with signal generated by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a quoted sensitivity of 0.65 ng/ml and a working standard range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and include a lyophilized standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.

Reported mean sample recovery ranges from 84% in heparin plasma to 91% in serum (n=5). Dilution linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
