Human Glutathione Peroxidase 3, Plasma ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Glutathione Peroxidase 3 (GPX3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate bearing an antibody specific for GPX3, paired with a biotinylated anti-GPX3 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction is visualised by a colour change after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of GPX3 is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The assay is reactive with human samples and reports a sensitivity of <2.42 ng/ml over a working range of 6.25–400 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Recovery has been characterised across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
