Human Glutathione Peroxidase 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Glutathione Peroxidase 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated anti-target antibody and HRP-avidin detection, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. It has a sensitivity of <15 pg/ml and a standard curve range of 39–2500 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery performance has been validated across sample types. In serum (n=5), average recovery was 91% (range 80–102%); in EDTA plasma (n=5), 90% (range 81–100%); and in heparin plasma (n=5), 84% (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was also demonstrated across these matrices.
