Human Glutaminyl Peptide Cyclotransferase ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glutaminyl Cyclase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. A 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Glutaminyl Cyclase, and standards or samples are added so that the target binds to the immobilised capture antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Glutaminyl Cyclase detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.071 ng/ml across a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes on a pre-coated 12 × 8 well strip microplate. Performance has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with recommended dilution of serum and plasma samples prior to testing.
