Human Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of its Assays and Kits range, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glutamate Receptor 4/GluA4 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format, a biotinylated capture antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the enzymatic reaction read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance specifications include a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.104 ng/ml, with the full protocol completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery was validated across serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was confirmed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for all three sample types, and kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
