Human Glutamate Receptor Interacting Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glutamate Receptor Interacting Protein 1 (GRIP1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format; standards and samples are incubated alongside a Biotinylated Anti-GRIP1 detection antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with a TMB substrate solution and quantified by reading absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.118 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Sample recovery has been evaluated using five replicates each of serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 has likewise been assessed across the same matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the product must not be used past its expiration date.
