Human Glucose Transporter 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glucose Transporter GLUT3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an anti-GLUT3 antibody pre-coated onto the wells of a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added, followed by washing and incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-GLUT3 Antibody. After further washing and addition of an HRP-Avidin conjugate, TMB substrate produces a yellow signal whose absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to GLUT3 concentration and is read against a standard curve.

The format is colourmetric on a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip plate. The standard curve range is 0.781–50 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.32 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), serum returned 80–102% (mean 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (mean 90%), and heparin plasma 80–89% (mean 84%). Linearity on dilution (n=5) was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions respectively.
