Human Glucose 6 Phosphate Isomerase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glucose 6 Phosphate Isomerase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised capture antibody, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a yellow product whose intensity, proportional to the amount of analyte captured in each well, is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance specifications: product range 0.39–25 ng/ml and sensitivity of <0.17 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery in serum averaged 91% (range 80–102%), in EDTA plasma 90% (81–100%) and in heparin plasma 84% (80–89%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 through 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% in serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% in EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% in heparin plasma.
