Human Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. An antibody specific for Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration in each well is calculated from a standard curve.

The stated product range is 6.25–400 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 2.35 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 for each), with reported ranges of 80% – 102%, 81% – 100% and 80% – 89% respectively. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions has been demonstrated in the same three sample types. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and the kit is not to be used past its expiration date.
