Human Glucoprotein 130 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay, this kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD130/gp130 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for CD130/gp130. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-CD130/gp130 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualize the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and the concentration of CD130/gp130 is calculated by referring to a standard curve.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been validated in serum (range 83% - 100%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 91% - 98%, average 94%, n=5), and heparin plasma (range 90% - 99%, average 94%, n=5). Dilution parallelism has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions, with serum ranging 78-102%, 90-100%, 80-104% and 86-97%; EDTA plasma 95-103%, 81-109%, 87-91% and 88-107%; and heparin plasma 74-101%, 92-97%, 90-105% and 84-102% (all n=5).

The kit is suitable for serum and plasma samples. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
