Human Glucokinase ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Glucokinase in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for Glucokinase is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells; captured Glucokinase is detected with a biotinylated anti-Glucokinase antibody, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The stated product range is 0.781-50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.23 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.
