From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GLP-1R (Glucagon Like Peptide 1 Receptor) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Captured GLP-1R is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-GLP-1R Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with visualisation via TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.118 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 m. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (range 83–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, average 96%) and heparin plasma (range 89–102%, average 95%), and linearity on dilution from 1:2 to 1:16 has been demonstrated in matched serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
