Human Gla Rich Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Gla Rich Protein (UCMA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip configuration and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

The reported sensitivity is 0.060 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The procedure uses a biotinylated anti-UCMA detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product after addition of acidic stop solution, whose absorbance is read against a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Validated recovery ranges are reported for serum (80–102%), EDTA plasma (81–100%) and heparin plasma (80–89%). Sample linearity is reported across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each matrix. The kit is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
