Human GDP Dissociation Inhibitor 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GDI1 (GDP Dissociation Inhibitor 1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format and is intended for research use only.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which a GDI1-specific antibody is immobilised on the plate to capture analyte from standards and samples. Captured GDI1 is bound by a biotinylated anti-GDI1 antibody and detected using an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a blue-to-yellow colour change read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.052 ng/ml and the standard curve range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Recovery has been characterised in serum (80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%), with linearity assessed across serial dilutions. Samples should be brought to room temperature before use and repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
