Human Gastrokine 2 ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with reactivity for human analytes and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit delivers a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.1 pg/ml. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The assay uses a biotinylated anti-GKN2 detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow colour intensity is proportional to the amount of GKN2 captured in each well.

In spike-and-recovery testing, serum (n=5) gave 80%-102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 81%-100% with an average of 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) gave 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was 87-91% to 92-97% for serum, 90-105% to 79-108% for EDTA plasma, and 84-95% to 89-91% for heparin plasma.
