Human Gastrin ELISA Kit

An in vitro quantitative assay from Antibodies.com uses a competitive enzyme immunoassay format to measure human Gastrin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm after TMB substrate development, with absorbance inversely proportional to Gastrin concentration. Total assay time is 2h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

The product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <4.36 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery (n=5) averaged 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%-99%), and 84% for heparin plasma (80%-89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. Reagents supplied include a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard (2 vials), detection solutions A and B (70 μl and 120 μl), 30X wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers.
