Human GABA ELISA Kit

Offered by Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GABA. The 2-hour format uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with GABA, where analyte present in standards or samples competes with the immobilized GABA for binding to an assay-specific antibody. Unbound components are removed by washing, after which an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added and detected with TMB substrate.

Validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids, the kit is reported to be specific for GABA with no cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. The assay has a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL, read on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Storage instructions specify shipment at +4°C, with kit components held at +4°C or -20°C as detailed in the protocol manual. The kit should not be used past its expiration date, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
