Human G Protein Coupled Receptor 78 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GPCR GPR78 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for GPCR GPR78. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-GPCR GPR78 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of GPCR GPR78 captured in each well, and the concentration is calculated from the O.D. absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colourimetric, performed on a microplate reader. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
