Human G Protein Coupled Receptor 37 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this is a sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human G Protein Coupled Receptor 37 (GPR37) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for GPR37. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where GPR37 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-GPR37 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the yellow colour intensity proportional to the amount of GPR37 captured in each well.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Manufacturer-reported recovery values include a range of 83%–100% (average 91%) for serum, 91%–98% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 90%–99% (average 94%) for heparin plasma.
