This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GNAI3 (G Protein Alpha Inhibiting Activity Polypeptide 3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate bearing an antibody specific for GNAI3. Captured analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-GNAI3 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, and signal is visualised with TMB substrate, which produces a yellow product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader; the intensity is proportional to the amount of GNAI3 present in each well.

Reported sensitivity is 0.062 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 for each), with average recoveries of 91%, 90%, and 84% respectively at neat concentration. Serial dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 was demonstrated across the same three sample types, with recoveries ranging from 74% to 108%.
