Human Fucosyltransferase 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com as part of their Assays and Kits range, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fucosyltransferase 4 (FUT4) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids [C0][S1]. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate to which an FUT4-specific antibody has been immobilised; standards and test samples are added, captured FUT4 is bound by a biotinylated anti-FUT4 antibody, and detection is achieved with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader [S1].

Reported assay performance includes a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m [S1]. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5) across the tested dilution range [S1]. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date [S1].
