Human Fructosamine-3-Kinase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fructosamine-3-Kinase (FN3K) in plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for FN3K. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by washing and incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-FN3K Antibody. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added, and the enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with FN3K concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.071 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery validation across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma matrices yielded average recoveries of 91–94%. Dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
