Human Formyl Peptide Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human FPRL1/RFP (Formyl Peptide Receptor 2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for FPRL1/RFP, with bound analyte detected using a biotinylated anti-FPRL1/RFP antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of an acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with the target concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The stated assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, and the protocol takes approximately 4h 30m. Recovery has been measured in serum (80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%, n=5), with linearity evaluated at serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
