Human Formin Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human FBP17 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique with an antibody specific for FBP17 pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells; captured FBP17 is then detected using a Biotinylated Anti-FBP17 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is added to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution. FBP17 concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. It is provided on a pre-coated microplate platform arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colourmetric microplate reader. Components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and the product must not be used past its expiration date. The kit is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Sample preparation guidance is supplied for serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatants, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, with centrifugation and storage recommendations for each. Linearity performance is reported across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16.
