Human Follicle Stimulating Hormone ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH beta) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for FSH beta pre-coated onto a microplate. Captured analyte is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-FSH beta Antibody, detected using an HRP-Avidin conjugate and visualised with TMB substrate, which turns yellow after addition of the acidic stop solution.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.298 mIU/ml and a working range of 0.625-40 mIU/ml, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Validated recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity has been confirmed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for all three sample types.
