Human Folate Receptor 2, Adult ELISA Kit

A sandwich-format immunoassay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Folate Receptor 2 (FOLR2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for FOLR2, with a biotinylated anti-FOLR2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate visualised using TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and FOLR2 concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Stated sensitivity is "0.064 ng/ml" with a measuring range of "0.156-10 ng/ml". The total assay time is "4h 30m" and the kit is for human samples. Recovery performance is reported as 80% - 102% (average 91%) for serum, 81% - 100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80% - 89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma.
