Human Flotillin 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Flotillin 2/ESA in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for Flotillin 2/ESA pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells; after washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Flotillin 2/ESA Antibody binds the captured target, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Stated sensitivity is less than 0.216 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery in matched samples (n=5) averages 91% (range 80%–102%) for serum, 90% (range 81%–100%) for EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80%–89%) for heparin plasma. The platform is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
