Human Flavin Containing Monooxygenase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA developed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human FMO1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids, offered by Antibodies.com. An antibody specific for FMO1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate; standards and samples are added so that FMO1 is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation, the wells are washed and incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-FMO1 Antibody, then with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and FMO1 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 0.115 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, run on a pre-coated microplate comprising 12 x 8 well strips. Kit contents include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and adhesive plate sealers.
