Human FK506 Binding Protein 1A ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human FKBP12 (FK506 Binding Protein 1A) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-FKBP12 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative measurement range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.109 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as indicated and the product should not be used past its expiration date.

Recovery and dilution linearity were evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Average recovery in neat samples (n=5) was 91% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma. Across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16, recovery ranged from 79–110% (serum), 73–109% (EDTA plasma), and 77–110% (heparin plasma).
