Human Filamin C Gamma ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich-format ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Filamin C in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a Filamin C-specific antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-Filamin C detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and quantification against a standard curve.

The manufacturer reports a product range of 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.126 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values were: serum (n=5) 80%-102% with an average of 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%-100% with an average of 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions ranged 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
