Human Filamin B Beta ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Filamin B in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 × 8-well strips) bearing an antibody specific for Filamin B. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Filamin B is captured by the immobilised antibody, then detected using a biotinylated anti-Filamin B antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is <5.4 pg/ml and the working assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml. In validation studies (n=5), average recovery was 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). At serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, recovery ranges were 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.

Components supplied are a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8-well strips), lyophilised standard (2 vials), detection solution A (120 μl), detection solution B (120 µl), 30× wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
