Human Filamin A Alpha ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Filamin A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated microplate using a sandwich immunoassay workflow in which Filamin A in standards and samples is bound by an immobilised capture antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-Filamin A antibody, and visualised using an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of Filamin A is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include an assay range of 1.87-120 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.72 ng/ml. Sample recovery has been evaluated for serum (range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity has also been assessed across multiple dilution factors for each of these sample types.
