Human Ficolin 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human FCN1/M-Ficolin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-FCN1/M-Ficolin detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate producing a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Quantitative performance figures stated by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Mean recovery values at n=5 were 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (each n=5).

Reagents supplied include lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures as indicated in the product insert (+4°C and -20°C). The kit is intended for use with human samples and should not be used past its expiration date.
