Human Fibulin 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibulin 4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Fibulin 4; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Fibulin 4 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop reagent, with the absorbance read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Reported specifications include an assay range of 3.12–200 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <1.48 ng/ml. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) and takes approximately 4 h 30 min. Recovery ranges are reported for serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), with linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
