Human Fibulin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibulin 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with a working standard range of 0.468–30 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.15 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit employs a biotinylated anti-Fibulin 1 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of the acidic stop solution; the resulting absorbance is proportional to target concentration. Provided items include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed. Reported spike-and-recovery values average 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%) across n=5. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 yielded recoveries of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% in serum, with comparable ranges observed in EDTA and heparin plasma.
