Human Fibrous Sheath Interacting Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibrous Sheath Interacting Protein 1 (FSIP1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for FSIP1, to which standards and test samples are added so that FSIP1 present in each sample is captured.

Following incubation, the wells are washed and incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-FSIP1 Antibody that binds the captured target. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added and, after further incubation and washing, TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The concentration of FSIP1 is calculated by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The reported assay sensitivity is 0.112 ng/ml, with a working range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and a typical assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
