Human Fibromodulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibromodulin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows a standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay workflow: standards and samples are added to the coated wells, captured Fibromodulin is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Fibromodulin Antibody, and the signal is generated using an HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate. The colour reaction is read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Stated performance figures from the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <0.122 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery (n=5) averages 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%).
