Human Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3 (FGFR3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for FGFR3 is pre-coated onto a microplate, standards and samples are added, and FGFR3 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-FGFR3 Antibody binds the captured FGFR3, then an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are added. The resulting colour change, read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of FGFR3 captured in each well.

The reported assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate.

Sample recovery (n=5): Serum 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA Plasma 81%-100% (average 90%), Heparin Plasma 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity is reported across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for the same sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past the expiration date.
