Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 (FGF9/GAF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with detection performed on a colorimetric microplate reader by measuring O.D. absorbance at 450 nm after the addition of TMB substrate and acidic stop solution. A biotinylated anti-FGF9/GAF antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate drive the enzymatic colour reaction. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit reports a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml. Spiked recovery (n=5) was: serum 80%-102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%); heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (87%-107%), EDTA plasma (79%-108%), and heparin plasma (82%-105%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past the stated expiration date.
