Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 8, Androgen Induced ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibroblast Growth Factor 8, Androgen Induced (FGF8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a Biotinylated Anti-FGF8 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal generated by a TMB substrate solution read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is reported with a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 6.3 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery in serum (n=5) is 91% (range 80%-102%), in EDTA plasma 90% (81%-100%) and in Heparin plasma 84% (80%-89%). Reported linearity upon dilution is given as: Serum (n=5) 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 respectively; EDTA Plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; Heparin Plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%. Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A and B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
